Wet Weather & Game Cancellations

How We Communicate Cancellations

When games or training sessions are cancelled due to wet weather or field closures, we communicate via:

• Facebook: Check our Facebook page for the latest updates - this is the fastest way to get information
• Team App / MyClubMate: Updates may also be pushed through the Team App by your manager
• Email: Your team manager will contact you directly if games are affected

When Do We Make the Call?

For Saturday games, wet weather decisions are typically made on Saturday morning. Please check our Facebook page from early morning on game days if there has been recent rain.

For training sessions, your coach or manager will advise you directly if training is cancelled. When in doubt, check with your team manager.

Field Closures

Field closures are sometimes called by Brisbane City Council or the Centenary Combined Sporting Association (CCSA) when grounds become unsafe due to heavy rain. We must follow all field closure decisions even if weather conditions improve.

Home games at Peter Lightfoot Oval and away games at other venues may both be affected by field closures.
