Volunteering at St Cats
St Cats is a community-run club and simply could not exist without the generous support of our volunteer families. Every year, hundreds of parents, guardians and supporters give their time to make St Cats the wonderful club it is.
Whether you're coaching, managing, helping at the canteen, or setting up fields - your contribution makes a real difference to every child who plays for St Cats!
Parent Participation Levy
There is a Parent Participation Levy included in registration fees. This levy recognises the importance of every family's contribution to the club. The levy can be recouped by meeting your participation commitment during the season:
- At least 2 field setups AND 1 additional task, OR
- At least 2 additional tasks
Please register your participation by scanning the QR code on the back of the equipment room door. If you cannot meet this obligation, the levy will be forfeited.
Coaching and managing a team also counts toward Parent Participation!
Team Roles
Each team at St Cats needs:
- Coach - Lead training sessions and game day tactics. No formal coaching experience required - the club provides support and resources!
- Assistant Coach - Support the coach at training and on game day
- Team Manager - Co-ordinate communications between players, parents and the club. Organise match day logistics.
These are incredibly rewarding roles and a wonderful way to be involved in your child's football journey. Contact our Coaches & Managers Co-ordinator at managers@stcats.org.au to express interest.
